 | It has not been long since I passed out of this institution, but there was always a dream that I saw, the dream was very simple----- to be united with my alma mater and after 8 yrs my alma mater pulled me as a teacher........... It feels great to be in its campus once again, feel the same freshness and most importantly to be with my teachers and an institution that dreamt to see me excel...... For all those who go through this website remember that one punch line: O hail Gulmohur....hail to thee!

 | With science and technology advancing day by day, wish some one could invent reversing the age to my school days. During the travel of time, met several people, been to several places had several bitter and sweet occassions which the time did wipe from the memories but AIWC team, my School, my teachers,my classmates, the classrooms, the school ground, the morning prayer, the annual day celebrations and many more moments never faded off. I still wonder where Sita teacher, Devyani teacher, Santoshi teacher, Manula teacher, George sir, Principal WC Sunandan roy and the most important Rita Mascharanes teacher who taught me to love history which I hated the most. But today History is one of the subjects I still love to read. I am proud that I am a product of GHS and so would the batches earlier to mine and after mine and for the years to come. Hats off GHS. | The 12 years of my life spent in Gulmohur have been one of the best days of my life. Today when I look back the duration of stay in school brings back lot of nostalgic memories of the fun we used to have back then. Am reaally grateful to the excellent set of faculty that the school had and has presently which shape the future of so many children studying there. The teachers have been an excellent guide throughout and I am very proud today to be a part of Gulmohur. The Alumni Association of Gulmohur has done a remarkable job in starting from scratch and providing a common platform for the students who have studied in the fantastic school.
All the best to you guys and keep up the good work that you are doing. Date of Posting: 15 May 2011 Posted By: Capt Chandramani Kumar Working in The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir ICSE-1999/ISC-2001 |
 | Hi fellows,
I start by thanking all my dear friends who gave us this amazing opportunity to keep in touch with our beloved Alma Mater. Gulmohur, just like her memories, is so near to us now. Just a few clicks to be precise.
I humbly accept this moment to exprsess my eternal gratitude towards our second home- Gulmohur. Words can just not define what our school means to every kid who walked out of those gates. On every juncture in life, when we sit back and reflect upon what we have achieved, we realize how much we owe her. We recieved unparalleled affection of our teachers here compounded with those petty punishments which now reveal themselves as blessings in disguise. I still remember how Amit sir held my ear when i failed to complete my assignment and the way Swaminathan miss scolded when i scored poorly in maths. Be it Tushar sir's sarcastic comments or Nihar sir's intimidating eyes, I miss them all alike;and now that we have passed that golden phase of life, school days seems ever more elusive.
I can't say much about studies as I was an "Outstanding" student but I do miss all the fun I had back then. It was really an enriching experience I took with me from Gulmohur in terms of the lessons learnt, and vivid memories. Thanks to our teachers who contributed so much to them by their incessant and diligent efforts. The fact that I passed out with satisfactory grades itself bears testimony of the efforts that our teachers put in every pupil to nurture them into worthy citizens of our republic.
Sincere thanks to all my teachers for shaping our lives so beautifully and imbibing such values into us which have helped us differentiate wisely between what's good and what's not. These values will forever be our guiding light I'm sure.
Love & Respect

 | I start by thanking Abhijit and all my other friends for presenting to us this wonderful medium of getting back to our beloved Alma Mater whenever we wish. Our school is now jus a few clicks away.
As I type these words unders a strong sense of nostalgia, I am taken back to those precious days which I will always treasure in form of vivid memories. I proudly admit, I was not the brightest kids from my batch. But such is my school, and such great are my teachers that they made a man out of me. At this juncture in life, when I look back at all the time spent at Gulmohur, it leaves me with a heavy heart, and soggy eyes. The lessons learnt at school will never be forgotten, and the values imbibed then, will I'm sure, forever be like a guiding light in my life. Thanks to all my teachers. I know, I never can thank them enough for their contributions in my life. Special thanks to all my high school teachers who gave meaning to my existence.
