VICTORY TO INDIA

Twenty eight years back,

World Cup came to India’s laurel rack

Under the leadership of Kapil Dev;

In1983, to the final’s India finallymade

Step by step India won,

The opposing were all stunned!

To see India’s passion,

For bringing the cup to our nation

Australia is a team strong

But those who said,’India would lose were wrong’

With Pakistan we had a breath taking match

The whole stadium echoed with the last catch!

The last match was played between,

The Indian and Sri Lankan team

The World Cup Trophy

In every player’s eye gleamed

History repeated after a long wait,

The World Cup’2011’ was written in India’s fate.

India proved that come what may,

Hard work always find a way!

A poem on COMPASSION

Once upon a time there lived a boy,

who did not have any compassion to enjoy.

He always felt depressed and sad.

As his performance was really bad.

He was in a state of depression.

As among his friends low was his impression

Once upon a time there lived a boy,

who did not have any compassion to enjoy.

He was troubled and teased by his friends

Among the students this has become the latest trend.

He felt like leaving the school

As he thought he was a great fool.

He was tired of listening to the harsh comments

And always thought about his sad moments

He made a mistake of leaving his family

But the decision was really silly.

Once upon a time there lived a boy,

who did not have any compassion to enjoy.

Having no place to go he wandered all over

And finally decided to jump into the river.

Then he meet a boy who was compassionate and friendly

Who showed him the right path to become confident and trendy.

Where hundreds of harsh words could not do anything

A few words of compassion magically did everything.

Once upon a time there lived a boy,

who now have many compassion to enjoy.

“So friends remember to use compassionate words

Or someone who hears you might feel hurt.”

Twinkle! Twinkle! Nano Car

A dream so big and yet so small,

Is ruling the hearts of one and all.

A giant foot-step with a Nano foot print

Splashed over night on global news print.

Critics and cynics who mocked its missions,

Stand, upright amidst, mast and adulation.

The nation which once blessed the world with a zero,

Has crowned a common man with the status of a hero.

The 23 Enigma

It’s really just superstition, but there are co-incidences around the number 23, the mysterious enigma. The physical biorhythm cycle is said to be 23 days. It takes 23 seconds for blood to circulate through the human body. The male and female each contribute 23 chromosomes during conception. There are 23 vertebrae in the human body. The number of joints in the human arm is 23.

Shakespeare was born on April 23. Two 23’s equal to 46 , and that’s how old Shakespeare was when the KJV was published when you go through King James Version of the Bible and turn to psalm 46 words and you arrive at the word “shake”. Turn to the end and count 46 words backwards and the word you end on is “spear”, the two words together get you – “Shakespeare” the author.

Mother Teresa

You were a lamp in the darkness,

You were love in hatred.

You were fulfillment in adversity

You were the one who pacified those fighting. You were the queen for the poor

There is not a single word to describe you

You were the sight for the blind.

Mother“, we can never forget you.
